Gold Hip-Hop Ring

Gold is probable the most common precious metal used to make rings. They are very easy to find, however take caution to where you purchase from. Most mall jewelers will have them at a decent price, but becareful at fleamarkets and smaller vendors as they may sell gold-plated rings or gold-tone rings. White gold toned and plated rings may look nice at first, and their price is appealing, they will most likely not hold that nice look very long. They will tarnish very quickly depending on the thickness of the gold plating. They may also sell you a brass ring but you should be able to tell the color difference. Once the playing wears off of a gold plated ring, the stainless steel will be exposed and could cause your finger to turn green if you are sensitive to the metal. Some people react to fake jewelry some do not. If you are looking for a cheaper ring you may want a silver ring however they will be harder to find. If you have a lot of money you can invest in a platinum ring that will not tarnish and will last a long time but will be very expensive.
